Matrimony.fr is a Tamil matrimonial platform connecting families in France, India, Sri Lanka and worldwide, with traditional horoscope matching, admin-reviewed profiles and protected contact details.

Our mission

Matrimony.fr helps Tamil families and individuals — in France, across the diaspora and in India and Sri Lanka — find a life partner with respect for tradition and for each person's privacy. The site is available in English, Tamil and French.

What you can do for free

Create an account and a profile, browse and search profiles, receive suggested matches, compare horoscopes with the traditional 11 Porutham check, and — where enabled — use the optional numerology comparison and the Match Rank ordering of suggestions.

Contact details are protected

Contact details are protected by default. Depending on the access mechanism, eligible members may see the phone or WhatsApp number that a member has chosen to provide: either through Contact Access granted manually by an administrator (free), or, where enabled, by unlocking one specific profile with Matrimony Points (30 points per profile; an unlocked profile stays available to you without paying again). Login email addresses are never shown to members.

Optional paid features, under a written contract

Most of Matrimony.fr is free: profile, search, matching and compatibility tools. Before any member contact details are shown, each member signs a free, written matrimonial contract with an annex describing the person they are looking for, a fixed duration of at most 12 months and no automatic renewal. Contact access opens at signature — with points offered by Matrimony.fr or access granted by the administration. Buying points with money opens after a seven-day protected period, during which the member can also change their mind freely. Buy only the points you need; gift points have no cash refund value.

Reviewed profiles, honest limits

Every profile is reviewed by an administrator, and members can block or report anyone. But we do not verify identity, documents, background or marital status, and no one can guarantee a marriage. Horoscope, numerology and Match Rank are traditional or automatic guidance, not predictions. Families should always verify details themselves.
